I
I have never encountered a more
spiritual human being than Gary Convery.
When I first walked through the
gates of Pleasure Valley, and met Gary and his lovely wife Jacquie,
I knew I had come to a very special, magical place. My life would be
changed forever...
I spent this past summer, taking
lessons from Gary, riding with him through
the beauty of his lovely lands and forest on his wonderful horses.
Cantering through the forest trails, feeling like a kid again, grinning from
ear to ear
I not only honed my riding
skills; I was given a deeper appreciation of the beauty of Mother
Nature,
and learned some very important life lessons from Gary along the way...
Live your life in the "now"
Don't dwell on the past, and the mistakes you've made
Don't fret about the future
Live each day as though it were to be your last

"Even the seasons form a great
circle in their changing, and always come back to where they were.
The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in
everything where power moves"
Black Elk, Holy Man of the Ogala
Sioux (1863-1950)
I am deeply saddened that this pupil
will never learn any more from the Master. Gary gave so much
of himself to all his students, and friends. He will be sorely
missed by all whose lives he touched.
